Results: Envelope

The results of any calculated envelope can be displayed. The list is empty at first. The user has to select one of the existing envelopes to fill the list with the results.

SettingDescription
File Select the file containing the results to be shown. After clicking the arrow beside the list of the CALCULATED envelopes will be displayed, select one of them.
El-No/Node Element number (if 'Element' is selected) or node (if the 'Node' is selected) to be displayed in the listing
Tendon Number of tendon (if 'Tendon' is selected) for which the results in the element division points will be shown.
Comb. Select a combination, for which the results will be shown. Click the arrow beside to open the list of possible superposition combinations.
Choice Element/Node/Tendon The results for elements, nodes OR tendons are displayed in the listing.
Choice Global/Local The results in the list can be shown for the GLOBAL resp. LOCAL element coordinate system.(only for Option Element/Tendon!).In case of Element the local results mean the results in direction of element, the GLOBAL results mean the results in direction of global coordinate system axis. In case of tendons the local results mean the results in direction of elements, the GLOBAL results mean the results in direction of tendons.
Ntel Pnt The element results will be shown for begin and end point of the element only. If an element subdivision is defined, the intermediate point results can also be displayed by using the button NTEL.
Choice results: total/primary/secondary The results in the list can be shown for forces/stresses
Choice type: normal/splitted/jointed The results in the list can be shown for composite elements as:
  • Normal   - the results will be shown only for composite elements
  • Splitted - the results will be shown also for partial elements of the composite element
  • Jointed  - the results for composite elements will be represented as sum of partial element results and composite element result
Choice RefSet In case of stress list the reference-set can be chosen to find the stress points for the Current cross-section of the element.

if there more than five stress points exist for the current reference set, the option buttons > are activated!

ElemGrp The results in the list can be shown for certain element group After clicking the arrow beside the list all existing element groups will be displayed.
PRINT The button is used to print the screen list to the file. There is possible to set the series and type of elements to be print out. If nothing is set, the complete list will be print out.
MAX/MIN Value To get the max/min value from the listing, one of six displacements/forces has to be selected. There is possible to set the series and type of elements, too. By using the MAXIMUM or MINIMUM button the program find out the corresponding value and highlights the line in the listing.

To get the Max/Min values from the listing, one of the six Displacements (Vx, Vy, Vz, Rx, Ry, Rz), Forces (Nx, Qy, Qz, Mx, My, Mz), or Normal/Shear Stress (Sig XX, Tau YZ) should be selected. There is possible to set the series and type of elements as well. By clicking on the Max or Min button, the corresponding value will be highlighted in the listing .

Note: For Normal or Shear stress, Stress Leading Points need to be selected from the drop-down menu.

DISPLACEMENTS / PRIMARY FORCES / SECONDARY FORCES/ TOTAL FORCES It is possible to toggle between the results for displacements, internal primary, secondary and total forces. The listing will show all corresponding values.
